Our Services

EFB provides many environmental services in Saudi Arabia

Preparation of environmental logbook and reports

EFB prepares professional logbook for running projects. logbook is the first step for environmental compliance and environmental management. It is an environmental identification document for a project that show activity statement, and reflect level of commitment to environmental standards and criteria set by legislative authorities.

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies

Environmental impact assessment predicts and evaluate all possible impacts from activity and their consequences on the surrounding environment on various levels. So that we use measures to prevent rather than to repair to achieve the principle of “prevention is better than cure”. Also, EIA enables decision makers to select the best alternatives to avoid adverse effects.

EFB provides EIA services for projects and industries; mitigate pollution outcomes. Environmental compliance for these projects can make licensing process easy for construction, operation and decommissioning phases.

We look forward to tackle this role to achieve sustainable environment.

Marine Studies

Coastal areas are the most crowded areas on the planet. Marine ecosystems are subject to many direct and indirect human pressures such as overexploitation, recreational activities, mining and others. On the other hand, economic development aimed to support human well-being may lead to damages to the coastal environment and consequently, the tourism. Hence, the European Commission in 2008 have setup the Framework Directive for Marine Strategy (MSFD; 2008/56/EC), which aims to manage European seas using an ecosystem-based approach called a Good Environment State (GES). EFB is combatable with this global trend in accordance with the local and regional requirements, standards and the knowhow.

Environmental Audit

Environmental audit has a role in achieving and meeting the requirements of sustainable development and is concerned with reviewing all stages of the production cycle and impacts on the environment. Environmental audit process gives an opportunity for each enterprise to update its operational systems and create an early warning system for any malfunction that may lead to negative consequences for the project and surroundings.

This process can contribute to raising the current and future production efficiency.

EFB assists your organization in implementing an environmental audit system in line with national and international environmental management standards.

Our partners and team of experts are constantly updating their knowledge sources for the latest techniques in these fields. So that, we offer our customers highest level of accuracy, credibility and modernity.

Environmental measurements

Quality of Environment “the state of the Environment around us” begins with knowing the current situation compared to the ideal situation, then a preliminary estimate of the expected pollutants and then taking the necessary measures.

EFB makes environmental measurements of air, water and soil pollutants. Pollution indicators might be measured to provide appropriate solutions in accordance with the laws and requirements of the regulatory authorities.

We have plans to maintain environment quality such as technical analysis, emission estimation systems, discipline and conformity with established procedures, when these elements are completed, we effectively plan the site (industrial, economic, tourist) to be handled.

Environmental Management Plan

EMP is a guidance document to measure compliance with environmental requirements and includes all activities and procedures necessary to manage and minimize the negative environmental impacts of potential environmental risks that may arise from the project starting from the construction process and during the entire production cycle. corrective actions might be set up if necessary.

Rehabilitation and Treatment Plan (RTP)

(RTP) is defined as “the return of an ecosystem in a specified domine to a state as close as possible to its natural state before disturbance. The environmental rehabilitation plan aims to restore an environmentally deteriorated, or damaged ecosystem to a better state and close to ecological balance.

Rehabilitation process, it is often done to treat damage caused by various industrial activities such as mining, oil extraction and others.  It is also sometimes done to improve the natural state of an ecosystem as a result of natural damage such as earthquakes, floods, etc. A rehabilitation plan usually requires a detailed assessment of the study area to contribute to the restoration of the environment and prevent any future deterioration.

EFB experts carry out accurate and unbiased scientific procedures in the evaluation process, guided by the applicable environmental legislation. The current situation of the study area is accurately described; different treatment scenarios are studied in order to develop appropriate recommendations for rehabilitation and follow up on their implementation in line with sustainability concepts.

Management systems consultation (ISO)

Quality means “charity” scientists formulated their definitions for it in many formats like: Juran’s definition “the appropriate for use”, Crospy definition “conformance to requirements”, Deming definition “achieve the needs of the customer in the present and future”

Accordingly, quality is a comprehensive way of developing establishments performance.

The progress in developing countries’ performance is a result of great efforts and years of experience and hard work and successes. Standards of quality of work, when applied will have the same results. We, therefore, have decided to adhere to these standards for our business community.

EFB provides consulting services to qualify establishments to comply with the requirements of international quality systems through a team of highly experienced team to use various management and quality systems compatible with international standards.

EFB provides consulting, training and capacity bulding services to your establishments to be compliant with the international quality systems requirements such as:

  • ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) Quality Management System.
  • ISO 14001:2015 (EMS) Environmental Management System.

Training

Training is one of the topics of development. It is a mean by which to develop efficiency of workers and link them more to development in the labor market. It’s like a career promotion granted to workers, at the skill level and not at the job title level.

The worker is moved from a certain level to a higher, specialized and professional level to increase productivity for him and the entire organization.

Workers’ training and development can be described as a strategic process, in which both the time and available expertise are engaged to develop human resources and upgrade them to a more improved and effective level.
